Description

LIFE WITH BIRDS is a web-comic strip about living with pet birds. The story can be funny, sad or heartwarming. It's a mix between personal experience and wild imagination of my life as an artist and a bird parent. All the characters in my comic are based on the real birds that I have/had. New comic is released once in 2 weeks here. Special bird comics (full page, several pages long) are posted on my Patreon for patrons only.

Don't forget to check my unique bird themed gift stores on the banner below. Every sale helps me & my birds! Thanks! \(^0^)/

Bird webcomic about living with finches and lovebird parrots. Drawn in yonkoma manga comic strip style. It can be funny, sad or heart warming. Art by Emmil Thomas.
Peanut is a big boy now. He has changed his bib to cravat! :D I think he has a crush on his Nanny, Pipi. He likes to sit next to her and sing... but every time he starts to sing, Pipi will fly away from him and land on my hand. Lol, Peanut's face will be a mix of disbelief and dejected. XD I'm sorry, Peanut but I've won Pipi's heart a long time ago. Good luck with the other finches though. :)

To my loyal comic readers:
I haven't got any comments on my last comics. Why iz that? Do you find them less funny? Or something else? Without your comments, this blog looks like a BIG deserted place. :'(

  1. I know that when I look at comics using my cell, it's a bit difficult to leave a comment? You are as funny as always. And I feel sorry for poor rejected Peanut!

    1. Aww, thank you. <3
Can you read the text clear enough on your cellphone? :)

    2. Yes, the text is clear and the comics come through perfectly. I'm always happy when I get an email saying a new comic is up! :)

    3. Hehehe, so glad to hear that. :D Do you get an email notification if I reply your comment too? :)

    4. No. No email notification, or I would have responded earlier. It might be my old "dumb phone" (it's not good enough to be called a smartphone).

    5. Did you ALWAYS click open the email notification before? If you didn't and just straight deleted it when you got one, I'm afraid it will be considered as spam and blocked by your email service.

  2. I seriously can't believe your finches are so tame. My jaw almost hits the floor every time I see your videos and pictures.

    1. Actually only Pipi that's really bonded with me. The other 5 finches are just quite tamed, meaning they don't hate me or freak out when they see me. They like to cuddle on my hand at night but at day time they are busy playing by themselves, ignoring me completely. Pipi on the other hand, always hangs out around me, keeping me company and she always comes when I call her. :)

  3. I have tried 3 times now to leave a comment, hopefully this one works.

Ok I seem to have worked it out, I now have to hit preview before it will show me the confirmation number test.

Love your blog Em, keep up the great work.

  4. I tried to leave a comment too. This is my second attempt. I admit to being lazy these days. I love the comics and will try to make the effort more often to comment. This comic really is cute. It is close to home. Here though it is usually a human that is crying while the birds and I hang out and play.

  8. Hi Em! I love your comics as much as always, but when I read them from the office I can't leave a comment, because my boss is sitting next to me peeking at my screen, so I read them and close the tab quickly before he notices >w< I'm happy that your bird family has grown in number!
