LIFE WITH BIRDS is a web-comic strip about living with pet birds. The story can be funny, sad or heartwarming. It's a mix between personal experience and wild imagination of my life as an artist and a bird parent. All the characters in my comic are based on the real birds that I have/had. The meanie me

Most people will say giving a reward for every positive response is the best way to correct bad behavior for pets. But I'm curious if there's any of you that have done any form of punishment for your birds. No, not kisses, nor belly tickles. At least a time out, back to the cage, or anything that sort. Me? Hmm... I don't think I need doing that yet. Either I have no guts or too lazy to do so. :D I just get along with those who like me and leave those who are happier with other birds in their own territory. So before you decide to burn me at the stake for making Petpet cried, let me told you it has never happened... Just the devil playing trick on my mind when I drew today comic. My finches, not just Petpet actually, don't like the green pellets for a mysterious reason, but I usually solve this problem by recycling the green pellets for my lovebirds' food. They don't mind whatever color their pellets are. No pellets will be thrown away and Petpet still has his pile of tissue. Everyone is happy! :D

    Disciplining your bird is never an easy task. Fluffy seems to come out some days with an urge for mischief, does all the things he knows he is not allowed too, chewing on blind, running around on floor with cat etc etc. We have a 3 strikes rule. Third strike back into the cage room.
