Description

LIFE WITH BIRDS is a web-comic strip about living with pet birds. The story can be funny, sad or heartwarming. It's a mix between personal experience and wild imagination of my life as an artist and a bird parent. All the characters in my comic are based on the real birds that I have/had. New comic is released once in 2 weeks here. Special bird comics (full page, several pages long) are posted on my Patreon for patrons only.

New toy

Bird webcomic about living with finches and lovebird parrots. Drawn in yonkoma manga comic strip style. It can be funny, sad or heart warming. Art by Emmil Thomas.
What's the fastest record of toy destroying that your bird hold so far? :D Next time I might just give my lovebirds the nekkid ice cream sticks without colors or string to join them all. It was like they don't care of those pretty elements I tried to put on the toy, lol. Below is what the shredded sticks look like, I give them to my finches, they all love it, including Pipi. It's like recycling toys! :D

All my finches now love chewing toothpicks! They were tempted after looking how much Pipi enjoyed chewing one. Maybe one day I'll take a pic of them chewing toothpicks together!! That will be very funny! XD

My house renovation will start again tomorrow. So if next week you have no email notice of a new comic that means I'm still exhausted from all the cleaning and moving furniture. But don't worry, I'll be back! Please share my comics with your friends, if I have a lot of new subscribers this month, I'll make another pet sketch giveaway event here. Thank you so much for your help!! <3 P.S.: Don't forget to leave a comment here please?  ;)

  1. LOL :D

My sweeties do the same. I give up building the toy with ice cream sticks, I just put the stick on the cage floor, and they love it even that way.

    1. After buying 1000+ new ice cream sticks I've just found out a new better toy: coconut leaf ribs! Bunch of it tied together and the fids love it! <3 Now, still thinking what I'm gonna do with the sticks, lol! :D

  2. -giggles- cute as your real fids are, I love Puri! Her little suspicious eyes are so cute! Not to mention I have two budgies, so I have a soft spot for them.

By the way, I always read your comics, even if I don't always leave a comment. I love your cartoony style and they have such sass!

  5. Hehehe Keiji has a toy (originally intended for budgies, but I got it anyway) which is a colorful plastic ferris wheel with rattlebells enclosed into color plastic balls, intented to spin and make sound. But my little rascal has already ripped off 3 out of 5 balls, opened them in half, and taken the bells out. Also whenever he is sleeping and I make any noise that annoys him, he pecks furiously the bells in order to make a fuss trying to say "hey, I'm sleeping! Don't be noisy!" But soon there isn't gonna be any rattlebell left at this pace... He loves toothpicks and ice cream sticks too ^.^

    1. My Pepe will also ring/shake his bell so hard that he falls from his perch. Happens when he's locked in a cage in day time when I clean the birdie room. :D
