It almost sounds like one of my favorite songs: "You are always on my mind... You are always on my mind." But, well, if we think our pets like our own kids... this can't be helped. :D And I believe this happen on both parents, not just moms, but dads too! Any bird dads here want to verify this? :D However, bird moms must have the bigger heart conflict in this case. Ya know, moms need to make end meets with whatever budget they have every month. So, deciding priorities over some impulsive ideas is like a daily battle. :D
Lately my drawing speed has increased, but my writing skill has dropped. My mind just feels blank staring on the screen when I'm supposed to write a few more paragraphs, just like now. It's always like this, when one muse takes control, others will enter a hibernation mode. So, could you do more writing on behalf of me on the comments below? This blog visitors and I would like to read your stories that relate with today comic, if you have one. Thanks a bunch!! <3
No matter where i go or what store, my two African Greys are on my mind. I look for items they will like. Their favorites. They are all i have in this world. I would do anything for them. They are both 20 years old and i have had them since they were weaned.
ReplyDelete20 years are indeed a long journey! I hope I could spend that much time with my current birdie gang. :)

DeleteI go to the grocery store--top of the list are foodstuff for the fids, then us. I get home and daddy bird asks what did I get him. There is nothing to eat in the fridge LOL so I have to bring daddy bird a treat each time. Usually food is all healthy, but someone likes cookies :0)
ReplyDeleteEh, but Daddy bird can always order food and treats by phone :D
DeleteAnimals come before us :D
ReplyDeleteI know you would say that :D
DeleteFor the first time I was worried about putting on henna as it might scare my parrot. It was my close cousin wedding so I agreed but I asked to avoid the nails. It did scare my parrot and I remb spending half an hour with him slowly until he finally accepted my hands and allowed me to hold and cuddle him. I wasn't even mad, instead I was impressed that all he needed was half an hour haha.
ReplyDeleteLol, that's great! 30 minutes is quite short to make a bird accept new thing :D
