Not all flight birds will be willing to mimic our words, parrots and not. So, better keep this in mind when you want to adopt a bird. The best way to make a bird talk is if it's the only bird at home. A bird is a social animal, and without another species of its own to socialize with, it will bond faster with its human and learn to talk as a way to communicate with the human. So, yeah, even a sparrow or a finch might have a better chance talking than a flock of budgie living together in a cage.
Anyway, after watching some parrot videos showing them playing and saying "Peekaboo!" with their owners I have been intrigued enough to try it with Pepe. But Boy, not only he didn't show any interest, he was pissed off...! I might have interrupted his masturbation schedule. Who knew? Lol. :D
Btw, do you enjoy reading my bird comics? A new exclusive series is available on my Patreon account, for my birds' patrons. If I have more patrons, I can submit 3 and more comic strips, instead the usual 2, a month on my blog here. Are there any of you who likes to support an artistic birdie mom and her dozen feathery kids for just $5 every month with ongoing exclusive bird comics to read as a reward? Your donation will be saved to help me renovate my birdie room. :)
LOL, yes that works with my cat but NOT with Fluffy.
ReplyDeleteit won't work with all my birds either :D
